About SearchEngineZ
SearchEngineZ began as a public beta in Feb 2000, and became fully-fledged on
Jan 1, 2001. It now receives 10,000 page views per day (roughly) &
2.95 million visits per year!
Rather than just compiling pages
of links, my aim is to provide the best search engines for each category, re-designed
to make them easy to use - with a special focus on serious research. SearchEngineZ
is a resource site that helps serious searchers find quick results. Unlike similar
web sites, Searchenginez empowers the user, not the advertiser.
For hosting I have been using PHP
Webhosting since Jan 2002, due to needing increased bandwidth, and they
have also performed very well. See uptime

Skelton, the IDE* of SearchEngineZ, is a professional researcher, who, amongst
other things, helped out at Google
Answers, was a private eye of sorts, works
in the affiliate program industry, helps
folk help each other for free & (as alter
ego Robert Bast), is writing a non-fiction book on the end of the world - portions
are available online at Survive2012.com.
This website began as a collection of his own personal research tools. He
lives in St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia,
which is where you will find the SearchEngineZ Corporate HeadQuarters.
